A doctor from Montreal found guilty of sexual acts.
A doctor from Montreal has been found guilty of performing sexual acts with a patient. As per the reports, the patient claimed that he gave her an inappropriate message. According to Quebec's Collège des, Médecins, the unidentified woman went to see David William Patterson for anxiety. She was shocked by a toaster while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. The patient said in a statement that during her first appointment in 2014, he offered to do a complete physical exam to which she refused, but he persuaded to do one anyway.
The woman claimed that with her upper body fully exposed he proceeded to massage her head, neck and feet. She was called for the second appointment, and once again, she mentioned anxiety and informed the doctor about the sore upper back. He asked her to take off her shirt and pressed his hand along her spine. The disciplinary board notes Patterson asked her to turn over onto her back and continued massaging her, leaving her breasts exposed. The College notes Patterson is no longer one of its members as his temporary license expired in 2015.
